The Alfred Smart Lock lets you use a unique key as a backup with the keyed-entry lock option. It has the same touchscreen functionality as the DB2, an elegant key point of entry with a swivel cover, and a touchscreen design. It Includes a Bluetooth feature for One-Touch access, which enables you to open the lock by merely touching the device with your phone.
You may control the lock remotely and add an Alexa voice control or Google Home Assistant with an optional Alfred Connect WiFi Bridge.
You can operate your lock and all your smart devices from a single system by connecting your DB2 to your smart hub with the Z-Wave Module. With the Alfred Smart Lock, you can assign up to 20 different PINs. It has LED status indicators, and Voice commands in various languages. Additionally, you can configure your privacy options using the privacy setting.
Motorized Deadbolt: The Alfred Smart Lock is constructed of strong materials. It is motorized and has a security deadbolt.
Single-Click Entry: Simply touch the device to open your door. A Bluetooth device is also required for the smart lock.
Standard Door Installation: Alfred is a typical door fitter and is simple to install. A screwdriver is all that is required, and it fits a 2-1/8″ standard hole.
Emergency Power Port: Never stress over Alfred’s battery running out. Just plug it in to use a micro USB as an emergency power supply.
Bluetooth compatibility: Use your Bluetooth-enabled phone to control Alfred from a distance. It would be best if you had an App Alfred Home for this functionality.
Z-Wave Plus: Your smart home becomes even smarter with the Alfred Smart Lock. To link Alfred to your smart hub, use a Z-Wave module on your DB2 or DB2B lock (available separately). Connect to third-party Z-Wave applications like RemoteLock, Nexia/Trane, Smartthings, Hubitat, and Vera.
The key cylinder for the Alfred Smart Lock is included when you buy this product. You must include Alfred’s Z-Wave module if you want a SmartThings or comparable hub to have Z-Wave communication. This is mounted underneath the bank of the lock’s four AA batteries. Because outlets and voltage vary from country to country, this device might need an adapter or converter to be used where you are traveling. Before buying, you will need to verify compatibility. A built-in speaker is included with the Alfred Smart Lock to greet you when you get home. It has a five-language setting (English, French, Portuguese, Spanish, and Mandarin).
In the event that your batteries run out entirely, all Alfred locks have a Micro USB port underneath the front pin pad that may be used to give emergency power, enter your pin code, and unlock your door. All Alfred locks will alert you well before your batteries run out. The lock may be adequately powered by any common phone charger or even the wire from your phone.
Everything is done through the Alfred Home app Bluetooth, so there is no need for a QR code to link your phone and your lock. You can also contact the Alfred Solutions team so they can walk you through the procedure and answer any additional questions you may have about the product. The DB2 has a key override option; its part number is DB2B. Both locks seem alike, but the DB2B has the key at hand in case it’s required. Although the DB2 looks a little more streamlined, these products function similarly.
Alfred Smart Lock is compatible with the Ezlo Atom, Ezlo Atom, Plug Hub, Ezlo Plus, and Ezlo Secure products which helps improve the efficiency of the Alfred Smart Lock.
